At the Midwest Clinic in Chiago, Eurus Saxophone Quartet will present “Teachers Who Do: A Mobile Approach to Music Education,” a clinic that will explore the benefits of personal musical projects in the formative years of one’s teaching career and the impact that our project has had on our lives and those of our students.
Eurus Saxophone Quartet will present a recital music from their upcoming clinic at Midwest at Sam Houston State University. Works on the recital include music from composers Alfred Desenclos, Sergei Rachmaninoff, John Mackey, Dana Wilson, and Philip Glass.
Eurus Saxophone Quartet is honored to join the opening faculty recital at the Great Plains Saxophone Workshop, hosted by the h2 quartet at the University of Oklahoma. Members of ESQ will join the Westfield High School Orchestra and Choir to perform in their final concert of the year.
ESQ will perform with the Cypress Springs HS Winter Guard as a guest performer in their end-of-year show.
Eurus Saxophone Quartet will join the end of year Splendora High Schools Bands concert as a guest ensemble. The group will perform the quartet version of John Mackey's "Strange Humors" for saxophone quartet and djembe.
Eurus Saxophone Quartet will be joining the Cypress Springs HS Percussion Concert performing works for saxophone quartet and percussion.
Eurus Saxophone Quartet will join the Cypress Springs High School Saxophone Studio as a guest ensemble during their end of year recital. Works to be included on the program TBD. The Cypress Springs saxophonists are students of Kaylee Christensen and Reese Burgan.
A joint concert presented by saxophone students from Lone Star College - Montgomery and Lone Star College - North Harris, featuring guest ensembles Ikigaioto Duo and Eurus Saxophone Quartet. These groups will perform works both old and new, from the Baroque Era to new works for saxophone ensemble and duo.
